New Website

Due North Press Release – Tuesday, February 14th

Due North Housing is pleased to announce the launch of its newly-designed website: http://www.duenorthhousing.com

As we continue to move forward towards realizing our projects in Iroquois Falls, we are collecting information, working to secure government funding and private investment, building relationships with local vendors, and following through on our commitment of clear communication throughout the process.

We thank everyone who has reached out to ask questions and express their support for our new projects. Your questions have been used to create the FAQ page of our website, and now anyone interested can read through and find the answers they seek. Other pages on the site include About Us, Projects, Solutions, News, and Contact Us. As always, feel free to reach out using our contact form (on the Contact Us page) if you have a question or interest not found at duenorthhousing.com.

The announcement of our twin projects in Iroquois Falls drew much positive media and industry attention. This is very encouraging and provides momentum that we’re able to build on. One industry leader, Doug Tollin, who is Director of Customer Experience for Skyline Champion Corporation (one of the largest homebuilders in North America, with 7,700 employees), shared the CBC article on Due North’s twin projects on social media, mentioning the game-changing nature of having a manufacturing facility and housing subdivision planned at such close proximity. This twinning of projects ensures that the factory’s capacity is already spoken for in the first two years of operation, a concept which was met with a hearty welcome on LinkedIn chat.

Due North Housing is now into advanced discussions with CDSSAB and the Town regarding the layout and composition of the multi-family project known as the Calvert subdivision. We are also working with a local daycare operator to consider various options for including daycare on the site.

Preparations for development of the industrial park are advancing to the point where professional firms are required to explore the best options available. We are connecting with these firms through a public tender.

Due North is also gearing up for an Open House in Iroquois Falls, to be held sometime in the coming months, and we look forward to meeting up face-to-face and gathering more community input.

Gilles Giguere, Due North Housing Regional Vice President
